Dear Sister and Brothers,

The 123rd Session Committee of the Grand Chapter of Pennsylvania, Order of the Eastern Star Inc., has been busy getting ready for the “The Heart of the Cross is Love” Session. Festivities and Rehearsals will actually begin on Friday June 16, 2017. Our business session will convene on Monday June 19, 2017 at the York Expo and Convention Center, UTZ Arena in West York, Pennsylvania. Please pay attention to the trifold for times and dates of events.

The Headquarters for “The Heart of the Cross is Love” Session will be at the Homewood Suites by Hilton, 200 Masonic Drive, York, PA 17406. Their phone number is 717-434-1800.

There will be a lot of changes this year at Grand Chapter. The goal is to condense the meetings, while still keeping our Pennsylvania traditions. We will be recognizing our Golden Stars right after the Necrology Service which will immediately follow the Divine Service on Sunday June 18th. All Golden Stars will receive a personal invitation.

Another change is that Tuesday night, June 20th will be a “free” night for the Regions to have their DGM parties.

The other major change is that Installation of the 2017-18 Officers will be Wednesday June 21st at 2:00 PM. This is especially important when making room reservations as you might opt not to spend Wednesday night, as we have done in the past.

Please find enclosed all the information and details pertaining to each event. All proper forms are included for your reservation which must be accompanied by payment in full. ALL checks are payable to the Grand Chapter of PA OES Inc, (unless otherwise specified) and all must be in US funds.

Please indicate special dietary restrictions on your registration form otherwise none will be honored the day of the event.

The 123rd Session Committee truly hopes you have a wonderful experience at “The Heart of the Cross is Love” Session, as Diana and Bill preside over our business and activities. We hope you feel the LOVE that has been spread throughout the State this year as they traveled to your Chapter, Region or Special Event. We anticipate
a beautiful ending to Diana and Bill’s Love Walk.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

We look forward to greeting and assisting you at the Session.
