We are fresh off our Pennsylvania Order of the Eastern Star 2024 Puppy Bowl and still celebrating! Not only did we fundraise and drive more awareness of the importance of the Service Dog charity, but we are so excited to share the news we unveiled as part of our finale yesterday.
As part of our 20-year history and celebration of our relationship with the Susquehanna Service Dogs, the Pennsylvania Order of the Eastern has named the latest litter born on January 18, 2024. They are the SSD Eastern Star Litter. There are 5 girls and 1 boy, and their names are:
SSD Star II
SSD Ruth
SSD Esther
SSD Martha
SSD Naiomi
SSD Tiler
You can check in on them by launching the puppy cam here: https://www.khs.org/what-we-do/assistance-dogs/puppy-cam/
Stay tuned for more news as we support these puppies on their journey. We are so grateful for the SSD whelping family, Vicki Alfieri and Jock, who not only gave up their naming rights to make this possible but have cared for SSD Supreme and her babies these last several weeks. Many don’t realize this is a round-the-clock job. We’re going to do some great things together. Thanks again to all who made this possible. We are just getting started and excited that this will enable us to follow their journey for the rest of their lives. Please follow our PA OES Service Dog Facebook page to learn more and share with your friends and community members so they know PA OES is alive and thriving!
