Greetings!!!

The “buzz” has begun and we are honored to serve the Grand Chapter of Pennsylvania as your Worthy Grand Matron and Worthy Grand Patron.  The excitement and enthusiasm we plan to share this year will hopefully be contagious.  Sisters and Brothers, we must be proud of who we are and what we do.  It is everyone’s responsibility to share it with those who come into our lives.

The committees: BFF-Building Fraternal Families, Caring and Sharing, Charity, Golden Stars,  HIVE-Helpful Individuals Volunteer Everywhere, Masonic Villages (formally Homes), Service Dogs – Aluminum and Stamps, and Veterans Outreach have some new ideas and directions.  Please visit the committee descriptions on this website to learn more. The Worthy Grand Matron’s Special Project is the Charity Committee.  The Umbrellas we will be selling will benefit three charities – MS, Cancer, and Educational Scholarship & ESTARL.  They make great gifts, buy one for yourself and keep a few on hand for those last minute gifts you may need.

The HIVE committee will be the Worthy Grand Matron’s focus.  Our members volunteer everywhere in their communities and we want each member to fill out a “timesheet” and let us  know where you volunteer.  If you are looking for a place to volunteer a few suggestions could include a Faith In Action group, the Miracle League, or Beads of Courage.  The “Quilting Bee for HIVE” is a way to help people in your community that may have had a loss in their life or someone who needs to know that someone cares.  Contact your Chapter Representative for additional information.

The Worthy Grand Patron’s main focus will be the BFF Committee.  Is your Best Friend a member of Eastern Star?  It is the goal of the Worthy Grand Patron to put a petition in the hands of every current member for them to give to someone that they feel would benefit from being a member of Pennsylvania Eastern Star.  Be sure to get your Log Cabin from your Chapter Representative to “log” your participation in the Order.

Finally, we hope that you will plan to attend many itinerary events in your area and across the State.  You won’t want to miss the “friendly competitions” between the two of us and the  “challenges” in which we want you to participate.  The “BUZZ” has begun and we need you to help us produce a “honey of a year” and share a warm and sincere “hug” with all of your Sisters and Brothers.

Always Believing,
